Job Details:

AllumiaX is looking for the position of Sales Engineers Trainee. Graduates from reputable universities/institutes, having a keen interest in sales and engineering management and strong communication skills, are encouraged to apply. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Engineering team in US, Pakistan, and with the customers in the Pacific Northwest USA (Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Idaho, Texas, Hawaii) as well as the East Coast. In this role, you will be able to acquire unique and valuable sales experience and develop interpersonal and business skills.

Description and Scope of Work:

  • Generating sales for new and potential customers via calls and emails. 
  • Work with engineering staff to review electrical drawings and use project information to prepare proposals that are urgent in nature
  • Handling sales queries for new and potential customers through communication using online tools
  • Research and explore sales opportunities via various platforms such as construct connect
  • Manage customer relationships by communicating, following up on action items, and maintaining records on excel, sales taskforce, and other platforms
  • Making initiation and follow-up sales call to generate leads and explore potential sales opportunities
  • Assist leadership team in developing and executing sales strategies
  • Research and propose best sales strategies and alternatives
  • Keep a record of the estimates and project proposals.
  • Work individually and in collaboration with the Professional Engineers, technicians, engineers, to develop proposals and meet customer requests and requirements for projects and achieve sales targets
  • Responsible to identify, manage, and close opportunities - following up on leads, quotes, service, and cross-selling opportunities
  • Assist and occasionally lead in creating MOUs, sales contracts, project proposals, and estimates
  • Contribute to the overall sales process improvement and training via documenting sales strategies, SOPs, video tutorials, and work processes

Requirements:

  • BS/BE in Electrical Engineering. MS/MEM/MBA is a plus
  • The candidate should have both written and speaking Fluency in English
  • Previous sales and pre-sales experience is a plus
  • The candidate should demonstrate confidence and strong interpersonal skills, and presentation skills and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Able to work in both office environment and work-from-home
  • Able to work in night shifts according to the US time zone and according to PK time zone
  • Should be available to attend and respond to urgent sales calls and emails in real time
  • Should have a good understanding of electrical engineering concepts
  • The candidate should have an excellent listening and negotiation abilities combined with the aptitude to run high-value sales strategies
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment, think out of box, and have an open-ended approach that will benefit the organization
  • The candidate should have an aptitude to create a team selling approach and act as a bridge between Customers Organization and AllumiaX services and sales specialists
